First day of summer vacation

Today is officially the first day of summer vacation. It feels so strange to be sitting at home and not worrying about what I need to get done at school. It is a great feeling! I am currently waiting for my children to return home. They spent the night with Nana and Grandpa last night and I am anxious to hear how things went. I sure hope they slept through the night! I want Nana and Grandpa to want to have them over again! We are so spoiled to have my parents here in town. It is great to see how much my children love spending time with them. I can't believe that the first day of summer is cold and windy! I am so looking forward to playing with our pool in the yard and the fun little sprinkler that we got. We are hoping to have a very fun, very active summer. Jeff and I are determined to get more active and hopefully in better shape. We want to be around for our children for a long time to come and we want to be able to keep up with them a little bit better! Jeff got a bike and we got a bike trailer from Costco. We went for our first ride on Saturday and it was so much fun!! I tried out Jeff's bike and found it was so much nicer to ride than my old one, so I think I will be getting a new one this afternoon. I am very excited!! Anyway, I don't have any pictures ready to post at this point, but hopefully I will soon. I hope I will be able to update this more often now that it is summer vacation! :)
