Busy, busy summer!
I can't believe that June is almost over! It has gone by so quickly. This is the first moment that I have had time to just sit down, relax, and think. Two weekends ago we went camping at Emigrant Springs (on the way to La Grande) with my parents. That was a lot of fun. Very relaxing and very wonderful to be in the midst of all that God created. Then, we went on to Gresham a few days after getting home. While there we went on a date, went to a party for Jeff's family, to the aquatic center with my sister-in-law and then to a baby shower and barbecue for my family - then there were all the little unplanned things that we did. This week we are home again for a few days. Jeff left this morning for Emigrant Springs and the kids and I will go meet him on Friday along with my parents and my niece and nephews. Jeff went early because it is difficult to get a spot there and because he needed a good, quiet setting to get some of his classes done that he is taking this summer. Jeff's birthday is on Sunday, so we are planning a small celebration up at the campground. I have been frantically trying to grade papers for GCU and get ready for the next round of classes that start on Monday. I am getting very tired of these online classes. I pray that I can stop doing them soon. However, I am very thankful that I was given the opportunity to do them so that I could work part-time for a little while. The extra time with my kids has been wonderful! Anyway, after this camping trip we will have a fourth of July party at my mom's and then, I think we will actually be home for a weekend! I am excited about that! Then, starting on the 12th we have a family vacation with my family for the weekend. After that, we haven't decided. It seems like the summer is already going by so quickly. I am loving it, but I hope it will slow down soon! =) I hope the rest of you are also enjoying your summers!
